Booking an Initial Appointment
We prefer to chat to you over the phone prior to your first appointment. This ensures we match you with the right psychologist for your needs and schedule. We’ll get to know you a little better, discuss your referral, and answer any questions you might have about the process.

Therapy as a Programme
Therapy with us is best thought of as a progressive programme where you will learn, grow and improve step by step. Although this doesn’t always occur in a linear manner, typically people move closer to their therapeutic goals session by session.
Your first appointment is an ‘assessment’ where we discuss your concerns, history, life circumstances and goals. Your psychologist will then make recommendations on frequency and number of sessions to achieve those goals.
We strongly recommend booking in advance as our psychologists can be booked out for a number of months. Our aim is to empower you with skills and knowledge you can use to prevent or respond proactively in any situation.
