Volunteering & Placement Opportunities
Develop your psychology skills in a supportive, ethical, and professionally enriching environment at Succeed Psychology.
Placements at Succeed
We love to provide opportunities for psychologists to develop their skills. As we receive many requests for placements, we ask you to complete the form below.
Provisional psychologists at our practice will provide services to their own case load independently. They are expected to have sound therapy skills including knowledge and experience in using CBT.
We do not provide co-therapy or in-room supervision. Opportunities for observation are limited. Given these constraints, we have found this placement to be well suited to Clinical Masters students undertaking their final external placement.
Only one student is taken for a placement each session, and interviews are conducted approximately 4 months from when the placement will commence.
Weekly Supervision
Individual weekly supervision to discuss your clients and extend your therapy skills.
Skill Development
Opportunities to learn adjunctive therapy approaches and practise new skills.
Group Supervision
Monthly group supervision sessions alongside our broader clinical team.
Interview Timeline
Interviews conducted approximately 4 months prior to placement commencement.
Volunteering
Volunteering at Succeed
Volunteering can be a great way to increase your access to and knowledge of the discipline of psychology. Many universities require ‘hands on’ experience in addition to academic results for progression through education.
While we like to offer opportunities for access to psychological work, we balance our clients’ needs for confidentiality and exceptional client service.
