Selina Shin

Selina is a registered clinical psychologist who holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Sydney. She is the Clinical Lead at Succeed Psychology. She is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association. 

Selina has gained experience in various settings including rehabilitation, working with NDIS clients, inpatient psychogeriatric units, and working with parents of children with oppositional defiant disorder. She now works with clients across the lifespan presenting with a range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, and stress, primarily using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She also draws on other modalities, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, to tailor intervention for her clients depending on their needs. She utilises Parent Management Training and emotion coaching when working with families.  

Selina values collaboration and creating a compassionate and validating therapeutic space. She aims to work with individual strengths and help clients learn new skills to build resilience, achieve their goals, and live meaningfully. Selina also heads up our psychometric assessment team at Succeed!
