Cassandra Wesley-Klements

Cassandra is a Registered Psychologist and is a member of the Australian Psychology Society (MAPS). She holds an Honours degree in Psychology from University of Witswaterstrand, South Africa and a Masters degree in Health Psychology from University of Derby, UK.
Cassandra’s work within the public and private sectors have provided her with experience working with people with a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety and traumatic stress. She also has experience working with children and adolescents and assisting their families who are experiencing a wide range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties and emotional regulation difficulties. She also has experience working with children and adults with mental and physical disabilities.
Cassandra has a warm, compassionate, empathetic and caring nature and creates a safe and comfortable space in her sessions. Her approach is open, caring, and collaborative allowing clients to feel supported.
Cassandra uses an evidence based and collaborative approach in her work drawing on a number of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help people achieve their goals.
